Suryakumar said, “When you are batting first, you are thinking about the score again and again. You bat, understand the statistics and we thought that a score of 180-185 would be good here, but we scored 15-20 less runs. I think my and Naman’s wickets fell at the wrong time, otherwise we could have reached a good score.”

Sameer Rizvi came to bat in this match as an impact player. He hit 7 fours and 7 sixes during his innings of 90 runs in 51 balls. He has now become the cricketer who has played the third highest innings by an impact player in IPL.
