India’s two-wheeler market ended March 2026 on a strong note, with most manufacturers reporting healthy growth across all segments. Demand for motorcycles, scooters and electric vehicles remained strong, helping brands finish the financial year with solid figures.

Leading the charge, Hero MotoCorp dispatched a total of 5,98,198 units in March 2026, up from 5,49,604 units in the same month last year. Domestic sales stood at 5,52,505 units as against 5,10,086 units, while exports increased from 39,518 units to 45,693 units. Motorcycle sales dominated at 5,32,383 units, while scooter sales rose to 65,815 units from 42,963 units a year ago. The company also reported strong retail momentum with 5,42,436 VAHAN registrations during the month.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India March 2026 Sale
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India stood second with total sales of 5,49,145 units in March 2026, a growth of 29 percent year-on-year. Domestic quantity stood at 5,12,303 units, while exports stood at 36,842 units. The strong performance in March helped the company end FY26 with total sales of 63,69,504 units, including 57,49,275 units in domestic sales and 6,20,229 units in exports, registering a growth of 9 per cent compared to FY25.
TVS Motor Company’s March 2026 sales
TVS Motor Company reported total two-wheeler sales of 4,98,134 units in March 2026, up 25 percent from 4,00,120 units in March 2025. Domestic sales increased from 2,97,622 units to 3,72,383 units, registering a growth of 25 percent. Segment-wise, motorcycle sales increased to 2,32,788 units from 1,96,734 units, while scooter sales increased to 2,17,624 units from 1,66,297 units. The company’s EV portfolio also saw strong growth, with sales rising 44 percent to 38,877 units from 26,935 units last year.

Suzuki Motorcycle India reported total sales of 1,28,227 units in March 2026 compared to 1,26,164 units in March 2025, registering a marginal growth of 2 percent. Domestic wholesale sales stood at 1,05,397 units, slightly lower than 1,05,976 units last year. However, domestic retail sales rose 11 per cent to 1,08,661 units from 98,176 units. Exports also increased from 20,188 units to 22,830 units.

Meanwhile, Royal Enfield continued its strong performance and recorded sales of 1,12,334 units in March, up 11 percent compared to the same month last year. The brand also achieved a major milestone for the financial year, crossing 12,38,659 units in FY26, marking a growth of 23 per cent and marking its highest ever annual sales. This is the second consecutive year that the company has crossed the 10 lakh sales mark.
